About the role#
The Engineering Co-op is a 15-week program based in Arlington, Texas. You will support site Engineering Managers with daily tasks and special projects to help meet department goals. This is a paid, full-time position starting in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform equipment analysis and investigate new plant engineering processes.
- Manage new installations and facility revisions.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layouts.
- Execute special projects assigned by the Engineering Team.
- Deliver a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing an Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree with sophomore standing or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- At least 18 years of age.
- One year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- One year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
- One year of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering development program.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience within the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division is preferred.
