About the role#
The Engineering Co-op is a 15-week program that integrates students into the site Engineering Department. You will support the Engineering Manager with daily tasks and special projects to help meet department goals. This is a paid, full-time position starting in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform equipment analysis.
- Support new installations and facility revisions.
- Create drawings and specifications for equipment layout.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Assist with day-to-day tasks and special projects.
- Deliver a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university with at least sophomore standing in an Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree program.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- At least one year of experience using Microsoft Office products.
- One year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams.
- One year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering Development Program.
- Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
