About the role#
The Engineering Co-op is a 15-week program within our Engineering Department. You will work on-site in Greensboro, North Carolina, starting in May 2027. This is a full-time, paid position where you will assist site Engineering Managers with daily operations and specific initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily tasks and special projects to support department goals.
- Perform equipment analysis and support new installations or facility revisions.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layout.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Execute special projects assigned by the Engineering Team.
- Deliver a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university with sophomore standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- At least one year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- One year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams.
- One year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering Development Program.
- Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
