About the role#
The Engineering Co-op is a 15-week program hosted by the Engineering Department. You will work with site Engineering Managers on day-to-day tasks and special projects to support department goals. This is a full-time, paid position based at our Global Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, beginning in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist Engineering Managers with daily operations and specific projects.
- Perform equipment analysis and support new installations or facility revisions.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layouts.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Deliver a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership at the end of the rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing an Engineering degree with at least sophomore standing.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- At least one year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Enrollment in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering programs.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
- One year of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering development program.
- Prior internship or co-op experience within the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for future career opportunities.
