About the role#
The Engineering Co-op Program is a 15-week initiative hosted by the Engineering Department. You will work directly with site Engineering Managers on daily tasks and special projects to support department goals. This is a full-time, paid position based at our Garland, Texas facility. The program begins in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with equipment analysis and facility revisions.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layout.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Execute special projects as assigned by the engineering team.
- Present a final project summary to site, program, and division leadership at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- At least 18 years of age.
- One year of experience using Microsoft Office products.
- One year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams.
- One year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering Development Program.
- Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
