About the role#
The Engineering Co-op Program is a 15-week initiative hosted by the Engineering Department. You will work directly with the site Engineering Manager to support daily tasks and specific department projects. This rotation begins in May 2027 and is based on-site at our Covington, Georgia facility.
What you'll do#
- Assist with equipment analysis and facility revisions.
- Support new equipment installations.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layouts.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Execute special projects assigned by the Engineering Team.
- Deliver a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing an Engineering degree with sophomore standing or higher.
- Major in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- At least one year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- One year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams.
- One year of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering development program.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience within the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
