About the role#
The Engineering Co-op is a 15-week program based at our facility in Garland, Texas. This full-time, paid position begins in May 2027. You will work directly with the site Engineering Manager to support daily operations and departmental goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day engineering tasks and special projects.
- Perform equipment analysis and support new installations or facility revisions.
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layouts.
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Deliver a final presentation to site, program, and division leadership at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with sophomore standing or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- At least 18 years of age.
- One year of experience using Microsoft Office products.
- One year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams.
- One year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an Engineering function.
- Experience working in a team-oriented setting.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
