About the role#
The Engineering Co-op is a 15-week program within our Engineering Department. You will work directly with the site Engineering Manager to support daily tasks and specific department initiatives. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Moline, Illinois, starting in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform equipment analysis.
- Support new installations and facility revisions.
- Create drawings and specifications for equipment layouts.
- Research new plant engineering processes and techniques.
- Execute special projects as assigned by the Engineering Team.
- Deliver a final presentation covering your work to site, program, and division leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing an Engineering degree with sophomore standing or higher.
- Major in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- At least one year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role or leading teams.
- At least one year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Engineering Development Program.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
- Previous internship or Co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
