About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to Canadian Banking projects during the Winter 2027 term. You will work within a team environment, focusing on product design and user experience while gaining exposure to banking operations and strategy.
What you'll do#
- Support the product ownership team by analyzing and executing the product roadmap, including pricing guides and decision workflows.
- Collaborate with designers to create wireframes, mock-ups, high-fidelity UI designs, and prototypes.
- Contribute to visual design execution, specifically layout, typography, and color, while maintaining design systems and brand guidelines.
- Partner with product managers to identify research needs and analyze qualitative and quantitative findings.
- Conduct user research, such as interviews, usability testing, and survey analysis, to generate actionable recommendations.
- Maintain user flows, experience maps, and design documentation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, design critiques, and workshops to collaborate on solutions.
- Present design concepts and user insights during product reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in post-secondary education.
- A strong sense of attitude, ownership, and opportunity.
- Proficiency with modern design tools including Figma, FigJam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with prototyping, design systems, accessibility, and team-based workflows.
- Competency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
- Ability to articulate key insights and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- This role is located in Toronto, Ontario.
- The position is on-site and full-time for the Winter 2027 term (January to April).
- This is a paid internship.
