About the role#
As a Banking Advisor Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for the bank. You will focus on helping clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. This role requires you to use your sales expertise and problem-solving skills to improve client interactions. You will work with partners to assist clients in reaching their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and the community to uncover banking needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Educate clients on banking products and demonstrate digital tools to improve their experience.
- Handle client-initiated contact and assist with a variety of financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual needs and build rapport.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems for clients.
- Maintain relationships with internal partners to maximize business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation or a willingness to obtain it.
- A track record of success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to connect with people.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- A flexible approach, a desire to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Current enrollment or background in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
