About the role#
As a Commercial Banking Advisor Intern, you join the Client Relationship Team to provide tailored financial advice. This role focuses on delivering a high-quality experience to business clients while you build your career in commercial banking. You will work in a collaborative environment where you contribute to team results and support client growth.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate the end-to-end client onboarding process while offering proactive advice.
- Identify new opportunities to deepen existing client relationships.
- Teach clients how to use digital banking solutions to manage their accounts.
- Discover client needs and develop solutions for business deposits and cash management.
- Partner with the Client Relationship Team to plan and deliver effective services.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to understand their goals and changing financial circumstances.
What you'll need#
- At least 2 years of experience in a service and sales role.
- A proven track record in sales and managing professional relationships.
- Comfort using modern communication tools, including web-based meetings, social media, and mobile apps.
- Foundational business knowledge gained through work or school.
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and client service.
- Post-secondary education in business administration or financial management is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in financial acumen and business development.
