About the role#
Discovery Co-operative is hiring a Part-Time Student Clerk I for the Glaslyn location. This role supports our retail operations by assisting customers and maintaining store standards.
What you'll do#
- Provide safe, courteous, and efficient service to customers in the Glaslyn department.
- Work as a cashier.
- Maintain accurate shelf labels, prices, PLU codes, and check best before dates for all merchandise.
- Assist with receiving, pricing, and displaying products.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be under age 18 and currently attending high school.
- If you are 14 or 15 years old, you must have completed the Young Worker Readiness Certificate.
- You are honest, trustworthy, and results-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and demonstrate good manual dexterity.
- You must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous co-operative retail experience is an asset.
