About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a student for a Clerk Cashier position at the Yorkton Food Store. This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Process customer transactions using the Point-of-Sale system, including tobacco and lottery sales.
- Manage general store tasks such as housekeeping, opening, and closing procedures.
- Stock and face products on store shelves.
- Operate the company van to deliver groceries within town limits.
What you'll need#
- Previous retail experience in customer service, point of sale operation, and merchandising.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and kneeling.
- Flexibility to work all scheduled shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A focus on being honest, trustworthy, and results-oriented.
