About the role#
This 16-week internship program is designed to bridge the gap between academic study and real-world application. You will work within our tech team to build and maintain intelligent systems that support our retail operations. Throughout the term, you will engage in strategic projects, receive professional development coaching, and present your findings to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and maintain AI systems that align with business objectives.
- Experiment with various AI models to improve existing applications and craft new solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies with other software systems.
- Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of current AI systems.
- Document and present model development, validation, and implementation details.
- Stay updated with AI trends and advancements to identify new opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university or college education in Canada.
- Enrolled in a co-op program focused on Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Prior experience through internships, co-op terms, academic projects, or research involving the implementation and optimization of AI/ML models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.

- Location: Toronto Store Support Center, 1 Concorde Gate, North York.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: On-site (Monday to Friday).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
