About the role#
As a Full Stack Software Developer Intern, you will join our technology team to build and maintain applications that support our retail operations. This 16-week program allows you to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges. You will work alongside engineers and product teams to develop tools that improve store productivity and the customer experience.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technical leads to design, code, test, and deploy full-stack applications.
- Develop scalable and maintainable code using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Perform unit testing and follow coding best practices.
- Review peer code to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to design reviews.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Work with product owners to define and refine requirements.
- Provide regular status updates to your manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university or college co-op program focused on Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software design, including SOLID principles and dependency injection.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP or PCF.
- Familiarity with Unix or Linux environments and command-line tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and continued enrollment in a Canadian accredited institution throughout the internship.

- Location: Toronto Store Support Center, North York.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $31,600 to $35,400, based on year of study, prior internship experience, and academic performance.
