About the role#
As an IT Support Intern, you will work under the supervision of the Technical Support Manager. Your primary focus is to assist the IT team by providing operational support to our stores, the distribution center, and head office users. This is a full-time, rolling internship opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Provide software, hardware, and operational support to employees and stores while managing incidents.
- Assist the Level 1 team during incident escalation.
- Configure and install workstations, printers, software, and other peripherals according to service levels.
- Participate in IT projects related to store operations, the head office, and the distribution center.
- Document all interventions in the ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Draft documentation for departmental procedures, policies, and processes.
- Contribute to information security best practices, including Windows updates, networking, and Antivirus management.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software.
- Participate in other activities as required by the IT department.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Computer Science in progress or completed.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, as you will support users across Canada.
- Knowledge of Windows environments, including Desktop, Server, and Active Directory.
- Proficiency with office tools such as Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Knowledge of network protocols, network management systems, and LAN and WAN methods.
- Familiarity with the MAC environment and tools is considered a strong asset.
