About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to support health services while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. This role is designed to help you prepare for a career as a pharmacist by bridging the gap between academic study and real world practice.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations and maintain a professional presence.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Learn about the expanding roles of the community pharmacist.
- Engage in patient interaction and gain experience in a community setting.
