About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our Gene Therapy Rare Disease team for a Winter 2027 co-op. You will work under the supervision of leadership to support the development and execution of the Clinical Development Plan. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Support activities related to clinical study design.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Target Product Profile (TPP).
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of the clinical development strategy.
- Support the preparation of clinical trial protocols and protocol amendments.
- Contribute to scientific communications and clinical documentation.
- Support interactions with Key Opinion Leaders as required.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings, including Global Project Team, Clinical, and Regulatory functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, or a related life sciences field.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for the full duration of the co-op.
- Ability to relocate to the office location.
- Preferred experience includes knowledge of gene therapy, rare disease research, preclinical research fundamentals, and basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Preferred familiarity with TPP formulation, clinical study design, protocol preparation, and regulatory affairs.
