About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Talent Program within the Animal Health division. It is a full-time, 12-week position starting on May 24, 2027. You will work in a field-based capacity to support regional sales strategies and customer engagement.
What you'll do#
- Support and service the Animal Health product portfolio, including Bio-Pharma, Allflex ID, and livestock monitoring services.
- Assist veterinarians, dealers, resellers, and livestock producers with product use.
- Provide logistical support for market field trials in coordination with Sales and Tech Services.
- Develop and execute customer engagement plans to meet specific needs.
- Participate in field events, including trade shows and customer education sessions.
- Communicate project updates and identify potential problems to Sales and Tech Services.
- Rent a vehicle for travel requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Animal Science, Agribusiness, Veterinary, or related degree program.
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework by June 2027.
- Minimum age of 20 years at the start of the internship.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time.
- Legal authorization to rent a car.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad usage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of the Animal Health and Animal Feed industries is preferred.
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales training is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Location: Lenexa, Kansas, with hybrid and remote work options.
- Term: Summer 2027.
