About the role#
The Modeling & Informatics internship is a 10-12 week program designed for students to contribute to drug discovery research. Interns work on independent projects or join existing teams to apply data, models, and methods to research challenges. This is a paid, full-time position scheduled for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in molecular modeling or cheminformatics research.
- Use data and computational models to drive hypothesis-driven drug discovery.
- Collaborate within a multi-functional research environment.
- Engage with various areas of the drug discovery and development process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, BA, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, informatics, computer science, or applied mathematics.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study or one year of graduate study by the start date.
- Commitment to continue academic studies for at least one semester following the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Programming skills and a demonstrated interest in modeling or informatics for drug discovery.
- Availability for full-time work between June and August 2027.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site and requires full-time attendance.
- Available locations include Rahway, New Jersey; Boston, Massachusetts; West Point, Pennsylvania; and South San Francisco, California.
- If selected for an interview, you must be prepared to provide letters of recommendation, a brief research statement, and an academic transcript.
