About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers 10-12 week summer internships at our Wilson, North Carolina site. This program provides hands-on experience within our Manufacturing Division, covering areas such as Vaccines Filling, Packaging, IT Automation, Quality Control, and Supply Chain Management. Interns work on projects that support our site operations and global distribution networks while exploring potential long-term career paths.
What you'll do#
- Participate in process improvement projects to build skills in problem-solving and leadership.
- Support day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives across our packaging, filling, and quality departments.
- Monitor and improve operational processes to ensure right-first-time and cost-effective results.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to maintain supply chain reliability.
- Apply your technical and business knowledge to specific focus areas, including demand planning, data analytics, and maintenance engineering.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years in a BS or MS program in an applicable discipline, such as Supply Chain, Biomedical, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Availability for a 10-12 week period between May and August 2027.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred: Experience in a packaging, manufacturing, or quality lab setting.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Lean Six Sigma.
- Preferred: Previous leadership experience or project management skills.
