About the role#
This Supply Chain and Operations Co-op role is a full-time, 6-month opportunity based in Morristown, New Jersey. You will join the Supply Chain Group to support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand reviews. You will work on-site, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support monthly S&OP and IBP demand reviews to ensure effective sales forecasting for US products.
- Coordinate with Operational Launch Teams for new product launches and line extensions.
- Manage Demand Replenishment Planning (DRP) for US distribution sites and develop contingency plans.
- Maintain and update Kinaxis forecasts and supply data, while validating demand plans.
- Use exception-based management and incorporate Zero Touch forecasting for foundation brands.
- Manage operational forecasts to reflect market demand trends.
- Maintain service level agreements with manufacturing sites and provide inventory reporting.
- Perform demand planning analytics to meet metrics and ensure global alignment.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes and evaluate cost savings opportunities.
- Act as a liaison across management levels and negotiate with stakeholders to reach consensus.
- Participate in sales and order execution (S&OE) meetings and weekly on time in full (OTIF) reviews.
- Shadow customer engagement account management meetings.
- Work on strategic customer fulfillment transformation and cost optimization projects.
- Ensure all activities comply with Sanofi standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
- Ability to relocate to the office location and work full-time.
- Experience in supply chain or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and the commercial drug supply chain.
- Understanding of manufacturing finances, project management, and basic regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in systems such as SAP and Kinaxis.
- Skills in scenario planning, risk analysis, and problem solving.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and team facilitation abilities.
- Ability to motivate and influence resources across the organization.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment.
