About the role#
This co-op position offers a hands-on learning experience within the Engineering & Maintenance group at Sanofi. You will work alongside industry experts to understand how projects are managed and how building systems function. The role covers various engineering disciplines, including project management, HVAC, electrical, process piping, and manufacturing equipment. You will receive training in safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) protocols.
What you'll do#
- Attend project meetings and assist with issue resolution.
- Perform drawing field verification and organize project documentation.
- Conduct safety compliance audits.
- Scope out projects, design equipment, and manage vendor costs or schedules.
- Lead and support commissioning and qualification tasks, including documentation and reporting.
- Walk down systems with subject matter experts to ensure design compliance.
- Observe equipment and system start-ups.
- Identify opportunities for digitalization, simplification, and continuous improvement.
- Interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and schematics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for architectural, mechanical, electrical, chemical, or a related engineering field.
- Expected graduation by the spring of 2028.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university during the co-op term and the following semester.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Ability to relocate to Swiftwater, Pennsylvania.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.

- Location: Swiftwater, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $35 USD hourly.
