About the role#
As a Supply Chain intern, you will join the Human Pharma Supply Chain department at our Columbus facility. You will work with the Materials Management team to help maintain US inventory levels and support customer service goals. This role involves preparing and analyzing information for monthly Sales and Operations Planning meetings for all US products.
What you'll do#
- Support monthly inventory management and S&OP processes by creating and managing Excel reports and PowerBI dashboards.
- Assist with ongoing projects related to the Boehringer supply chain portfolio.
- Explore ways to use AI, Microsoft Copilot, automation, and other digital tools to improve planning and operational efficiency.
- Research an emerging pharmaceutical supply chain topic and provide a summary with recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree student in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Completion of at least 12 credit hours for undergraduates or 9 credit hours for graduate students.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Professional curiosity and a willingness to ask questions.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Ability to pass a drug test and post-offer physical if required.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Columbus, Ohio.
- The role is hybrid, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
