About the role#
As a Copywriter Intern, you will join the in-house creative team at our Ridgefield, Connecticut office. You will work alongside a Design Intern to create marketing content for healthcare professionals and consumers. This role offers the chance to contribute to campaign concepts and internal projects while receiving guidance from senior writers and creative leads.
What you'll do#
- Write and edit marketing copy for brochures, emails, patient materials, and digital assets.
- Adapt tone and messaging to meet regulatory, medical accuracy, and brand guidelines.
- Develop headline and tagline options to support campaign concepting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including project management, marketing, and design teams.
- Assist with research and fact-checking to ensure claims are accurately sourced.
- Contribute to ideation sessions and provide multiple creative directions.
- Complete all required compliance training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours; graduate students must have completed at least 9 credit hours.
- Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences, such as coursework or writing experience in biology or regulated industries.
- Experience drafting headlines, taglines, and message frameworks while interpreting creative briefs.
- Ability to translate clinical information into audience-appropriate language.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic exposure to project management systems like Workfront, Jira, or Wrike.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free drafts.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and willing to complete a drug test and post-offer physical.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
- The work modality is on-site with hybrid flexibility, requiring at least two to three days per week on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
