About the role#
As an MLOps Co-Op, you will join our Central Data Science team in Ridgefield. You will work on a global initiative to improve how we use data and support data-driven decision-making. You will work alongside data scientists to engineer and deploy machine learning solutions in production environments.
What you'll do#
- Provide engineering support to data scientists by developing secure, automated, scalable, and maintainable production-grade solutions.
- Build and maintain ML pipelines.
- Manage data source automation.
- Develop applications.
- Provide platform and infrastructure support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Engineering or a related STEM field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of at least 12 credit hours in your major.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Bash or PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, including reproducible ML, feature stores, model deployment, and drift detection.
- Experience with code repositories like GitHub, Bitbucket, or Huggingface.
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including IaaS and IaC tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, DevOps, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or AWS CI/CD services.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Knowledge of networking and security, including routing, firewalls, VPN, TCP/IP, and VPC.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and willing to complete a drug test and post-offer physical.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
- The position is hybrid, requiring you to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week.
- You must reside within commuting distance of the office.
- This is a full-time position for a minimum of 4 months, with the possibility of extension up to 6 months.
- Compensation is between $20 and $33 per hour, depending on your degree level.
