About the role#
We are looking for a Machine Learning AI Co-op to join our Quantitative Pharmacology team. You will work on implementing, developing, and validating AI and machine learning models to support drug discovery and development. This role focuses on predicting the pharmacology dynamics of biologics by integrating structural properties with preclinical and clinical data. You will contribute to critical decision making within a global R&D environment.
What you'll do#
- Implement, develop, and validate data-based AI and machine learning models.
- Analyze and interpret preclinical and clinical data.
- Design and train biology and pharmacology-based models.
- Support the Quantitative Pharmacology team in making key research decisions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in a STEM field, such as Computer Science or Mathematics.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
- Ability to relocate to the office location.
- Experience with Python and relevant libraries.
- Experience with statistical and machine learning methods.
- Familiarity with drug discovery and development concepts.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix and global environment.
- Preferred: Experience with Large Language models, deep learning, or time series data modeling.
Location & details#
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $47 to $60 per hour.
