About the role#
Boehringer Ingelheim is hiring a Data Science co-op for the CMC Regulatory Affairs department in Ridgefield, CT. You will use your background in data science to improve data platforms and create reports for marketed products. This involves identifying ways to automate data management and building new platforms to support our digital innovation goals.
What you'll do#
- Optimize existing data platforms to improve report generation.
- Use applications like PowerApps to develop relevant reporting tools.
- Evaluate federal and state regulations to ensure data reports remain compliant.
- Refine CMC databases and tracking tools using current software.
- Build dashboards to track CMC submission metrics and information databases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 9 credit hours for graduate students or 12 credit hours for undergraduates.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for at least six months.
- Strong skills in planning, organization, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in computer and information technology.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing environments.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and willing to complete a drug test and post-offer physical if required.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Ridgefield, CT.
- The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week on-site at the Ridgefield office.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
