About the role#
As an Undergraduate Intern for the ARMHS program, you will support clients on their path toward independence and mental health stability. You will work under the mentorship of licensed clinical professionals to provide skills-based interventions in home and community settings. This position is a paid, on-site role based in Baxter, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Provide culturally responsive mental health skills training to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with your team to design effective treatment plans.
- Document mental health sessions in electronic health records.
- Attend staff and team meetings to contribute to client care.
- Meet regularly with your internship supervisor for guidance and professional development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program for psychology, sociology, nursing, or public health.
- Completion of at least 30 semester credit hours or 40 quarter credit hours.
- Enrollment that requires internship credit or completion of a formal practicum.
- Access to a personal vehicle for use during the internship.
- A commitment to the program for a minimum of 6 months.
