About the role#
As a Lean Manufacturing Support student, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at our facility. You will assist in analyzing current processes to identify waste and help implement changes to improve efficiency. This role involves both hands-on floor work and administrative support for improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Conduct time studies to evaluate production efficiency.
- Analyze current procedures to find opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the development of standard work methods.
- Support 5S blitzes and Kaizen activities, including document preparation.
- Help implement improvement actions by working directly with teams.
- Identify waste in existing processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering program.
- Eligibility for a 4-month co-op placement.
- Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

- Location: Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.70 - $36.40 per hour, based on year of study and prior co-op experience.
