About the role#
The Project Manager Intern will support the Sr. Program Manager of Strategy and Planning during the pre-execution phase of programs. This full-time, paid position involves working with functional groups including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering to support program requirements and department operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist in drafting complex business plans that detail operating procedures for functional groups.
- Create cost walks and provide monthly financial updates and analysis.
- Assist in drafting legal documentation such as quotes, proposals, and Master Service Agreements.
- Manage the key performance indicators (KPI) data log and related documentation.
- Create and revise complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Create presentations for the Contract Manufacturing team.
- Manage the department asset crib, including asset tagging and tracking.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing office supplies and coordinating department events.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including in-person presentation abilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).
- Advanced skills in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Ability to think critically and analyze data to create business plans.
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident to allow for ITAR compliance.
