About the role#
Roush is seeking a mechanical engineering student to join the Vehicle Engineering team for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time internship requiring 40 hours per week on-site. You will gain exposure to engineering, testing, and prototype development projects while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support various engineering and testing projects within the Vehicle Engineering team.
- Gain hands-on experience with vehicle and body engineering systems.
- Familiarize yourself with automotive industry standards and development processes.
- Work on-site Monday through Friday.
What you'll need#
- Minimum junior standing at a college or university.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- A strong desire to learn about the design, development, and testing of vehicle engineering systems.
- Preferred qualifications include previous automotive internship experience, involvement in mechanical project teams like Formula SAE or Baja, and hands-on mechanical experience.
