About the role#
The CAE Engineering Intern will join the CAE group to work on diverse engineering programs. This role involves collaborating with a team of engineers to analyze various structures using analytical and finite element methods. You will use analysis software to create and evaluate finite element models across industries including automotive, theme park entertainment, and aerospace.
What you'll do#
- Analyze structures using analytical and finite element methods.
- Create and analyze finite element models using specialized software.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers on engineering programs.
- Support projects within the automotive, theme park entertainment, and aerospace sectors.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline.
- Minimum sophomore standing at a college or university.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong coursework in Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis, and Numerical methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
