About the role#
The CAE Engineering Intern will join the CAE group to support diverse engineering programs. This role involves working closely with a team of engineers to analyze various structures using analytical and finite element methods. You will gain exposure to projects across the automotive, theme park entertainment, and aerospace industries.
What you'll do#
- Create and analyze finite element models using specialized analysis software.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers on a variety of engineering programs.
- Apply analytical techniques to mechanical engineering problems.
- Gain hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline.
- Minimum sophomore standing at a college or university.
- Strong coursework in Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis, and Numerical methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- A strong desire to learn and engage in hands-on engineering work.
