About the role#
As a Revenue Intern, you will work directly with our Revenue Accounting team during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will gain hands-on experience with ASC 606 compliance, deferred revenue analysis, and month-end close processes while learning the intricacies of our order-to-cash cycle.
What you'll do#
- Review sales orders, customer contracts, and invoices under the guidance of our team.
- Partner with the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting on a cross-functional initiative to redesign internal revenue reporting.
- Collaborate with partners in Sales, Customer Success, and Legal to address contract and order questions.
- Take ownership of a defined project to identify a recurring manual process and build a tool or analytical review to improve it.
- Present your project findings and deliverables at our end-of-summer Intern Showcase.
- Support the broader Accounting team with ad hoc requests and special projects.
What you'll need#
- You are an Accounting major entering your final year or a recent graduate starting a Master's in Accounting program in the fall.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience or interest in using AI tools for data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A curious, self-motivated approach to work and a willingness to ask questions.
- Exposure to accounting coursework covering ASC 606 is preferred.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus.
