About the role#
The 2027 ETP Risk Management Internship offers students exposure to the financial services industry through placements in Corporate Compliance, Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Credit Risk, Financial Risk Management, and Enterprise Risk Management. Interns operate as key team members, supporting internal initiatives and participating in centralized training sessions. You will work with subject matter experts to gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, data analysis, and governance practices.
What you'll do#
- Assist with projects and research tasks across your assigned department.
- Gain insight into various risk management functions while strengthening core technical and analytical skills.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with team members to support organizational initiatives.
- Engage in tasks such as risk assessment design, control documentation, performance trend analysis, and data visualization.
- Participate in training sessions and interact with senior leadership to understand bank resiliency and financial performance.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Cybersecurity.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week summer term.
- Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and strong communication skills.
- Active involvement in campus leadership or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship available).
