About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in commercial real estate at our Dallas regional office. You will work across several departments including leasing, property operations, construction, and investments. The program lasts approximately 8 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will balance daily tasks, shadowing experienced professionals, and completing assigned projects.
What you'll do#
- Identify prospective tenants and present opportunities.
- Conduct market studies, comp reports, and tenant void analysis.
- Evaluate potential acquisition and development opportunities.
- Shadow Property Managers during shopping center property visits.
- Monitor the progress of new tenant and development construction with the team.
- Assist with leasing inquiries, database maintenance, and direct marketing.
- Support the due diligence and underwriting process for new investments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Senior at an accredited 4-year college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Interest in commercial real estate, with a preference for majors in Real Estate, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the day shift.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
