About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports the Project Manager and the broader team throughout the development and execution phases of construction projects. You will gain exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, and procurement while contributing to real-world infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
- Support the development of project schedules and track progress.
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Assist with safety-related documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation under supervision.
- Manage project documents, including RFI submittals.
- Assist with procurement tasks, such as purchase orders and subcontract packages.
- Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
