About the role#
This is a part-time, on-site internship for students at Goshen College. You will support your peers in their financial journey while building your own coaching and communication skills. The role spans two semesters for a total of 30 weeks, requiring 10 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Provide confidential peer coaching on topics like debt awareness and budgeting.
- Help students build healthy financial habits.
- Promote financial wellness on campus using social media, flyers, and events.
- Work with Everence and college staff to run on-campus workshops.
- Join regular training and reflection sessions to improve your service and communication abilities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree.
- Experience in tutoring, mentorship, or student leadership.
- An interest in fields like counseling, business, ministry, education, or service.
- Strong listening skills and a desire to support others one-on-one.
