About the role#
As a Peer Financial Coach Intern, you will support fellow students on their financial journeys. This role focuses on building leadership, coaching, and communication skills through service. You will mentor peers, share knowledge about financial wellness, and contribute to a positive campus environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide confidential peer coaching on topics like budgeting and debt awareness.
- Help students build healthy financial habits.
- Promote financial wellness on campus using flyers, social media, and events.
- Work with Everence and Malone staff during on-campus workshops and events.
- Engage in training and reflection sessions to improve your service and communication skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- Background in mentorship, tutoring, or student leadership.
- Interest in fields such as coaching, counseling, ministry, education, or business.
- Ability to listen attentively and communicate clearly.
- A thoughtful approach to supporting others one-on-one.
Location & details#
- Location: Archbold, Ohio.
- Schedule: Part-time, 10 hours per week.
- Duration: Two semesters (30 weeks).
- This is a paid, on-site internship.
