About the role#
As a Peer Financial Coach Intern, you will support fellow students as they navigate their financial journeys. This role focuses on developing your leadership, coaching, and communication skills while you provide service to the campus community. You will mentor others and help expand their understanding of financial wellness.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions focused on budgeting and debt management.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to build your financial knowledge and coaching techniques.
- Act as a campus ambassador to promote the coaching service.
- Create and distribute flyers and other materials around campus.
- Connect with faculty, student organizations, and various campus offices to increase awareness of the program.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree, ideally in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
- An interest in mentoring, coaching, or education.
- Strong skills in communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
- Curiosity about potential careers in banking, financial services, or community-based support.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
- This is an on-site, part-time position requiring 10 hours per week.
- The term lasts for two semesters, totaling 30 weeks.
- This is a paid internship.
