About the role#
Regency Centers is seeking a Real Estate Intern to join our Los Angeles regional office for the summer of 2027. This 8-week internship offers exposure to commercial real estate through hands-on training in leasing, property operations, construction, and investments. You will shadow experienced professionals, assist with daily tasks, and complete assigned projects. This is a full-time, on-site position working 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Identify prospective tenants and assist in presenting opportunities.
- Conduct market studies, comp reports, and tenant void analysis.
- Assist in the due diligence and underwriting of potential acquisitions and developments.
- Shadow Property Managers during property inspections and visits.
- Research new exterior building materials and monitor construction progress on new developments.
- Support the leasing team with database maintenance, marketing planning, and deal generation.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a rising Senior at an accredited 4-year college or university.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to learn new programs and software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
