About the role#
Amgen is looking for a graduate intern to join the Process Development team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Operations function, which focuses on manufacturing and delivering medicines to patients. This role is based on-site in Thousand Oaks, California, and requires a full-time commitment.
What you'll do#
- Complete a technical project in areas such as Drug Substance Technologies or Attribute Sciences.
- Analyze and interpret data to create business-influencing outcomes.
- Present your project findings to your team in a clear and compelling way.
- Participate in professional development activities, including training sessions and one-on-one mentoring.
What you'll need#
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are currently enrolled in a graduate program (MBA, Master's, PharmD, or Ph.D.) and have finished your first year of study before the start of the internship.
- You have 2-4 years of experience working in a lab.
- You possess strong basic lab skills.
- Your academic background includes Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration.
