About the role#
We are looking for students to join our Digital Design team for a Winter 2027 co-op placement. This role focuses on creating intuitive, user-centered digital solutions that improve the client experience. You will work alongside designers, developers, and product managers to turn user insights into practical designs.
Potential placements for this term include Visual Designer, Interaction Designer, Design Researcher, or Content Designer. Please specify your preferred placement in your cover letter.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build digital experiences.
- Research user needs, pain points, and behaviors to create actionable insights.
- Design and prototype interfaces, ranging from wireframes to high-fidelity models.
- Develop and refine UI components and design system documentation.
- Apply accessibility standards and design principles to optimize client experiences.
- Create content strategies that align with our digital voice.
- Support usability testing to evaluate prototypes.
- Simplify complex problems through effective visualizations.
- Participate in iterative design processes within an agile environment.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge in interaction design, visual design, content design, or design research.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio or examples of work demonstrating creativity or problem-solving.
- A willingness to learn about user behavior, design principles, and new technologies.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is helpful.
- Ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person role.
- Term: January 11, 2027 to April 30, 2027.
- Eligibility: You must be returning to school after the work term or require this placement as a mandatory graduation requirement.
