About the role#
This is a four month co-op position within the Wealth Management division at RBC. You will work on-site in Toronto as a full-time Associate Tax Officer. This role is paid and focuses on tax preparation and account management.
What you'll do#
- Prepare income tax returns including T1, T1D, T3, and T3010 forms.
- Investigate account discrepancies and resolve inquiries.
- Collect and maintain accurate documentation of all account activities.
- Communicate with external parties via phone and email.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members, including assisting with the training of new staff.
- Keep RBC partners informed about account issues and resolutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literacy.
- Effective listening and interpersonal skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
