About the role#
This is a 9-month internship within the Commercial Banking platform. You will work in a face-to-face client role, supported by an assigned mentor. Your training includes on-the-job experience, self-study, online courses, and classroom instruction. This role prepares you to provide service in areas including accounts, operating services, credit, lending, and deposits.
What you'll do#
- Provide tailored financial advice and solutions to commercial clients.
- Use sales planning, prospecting, and pre-call tools to manage your workflow.
- Improve the client experience through a continuous approach to service delivery.
- Build a needs-based sales strategy to grow revenue and deepen client relationships.
What you'll need#
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with financial statement review and computer modeling.
- Success in business development, including prospecting and acquiring new clients.
- Familiarity with digital banking, social media, and mobile applications.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a self-motivated, entrepreneurial attitude.
- A preference for 1-2 years of experience in commercial or agriculture lending and previous banking experience.
- A commitment to continuous learning and understanding diverse client needs.

- Locations: Weyburn, Estevan, and Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
