About the role#
This internship focuses on professional relationship management within the Agriculture and Agri-Food industry. You will deliver financial advice and develop solutions tailored to individual client needs. This position involves managing portfolios, assessing credit risk, and driving business growth through sales and prospecting.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and generate leads for new and existing clients.
- Review financial statements to identify trends, monitor risk, and assess credit restructuring needs.
- Provide business and financial advice to ensure a high level of client service.
- Coordinate with internal teams to execute client contact strategies.
- Identify referral opportunities and connect clients with the appropriate bank partners.
- Advocate for digital tools by educating clients on the use of mobile applications and digital banking.
What you'll need#
- Commercial banking experience, with a preference for agriculture industry knowledge.
- A proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
- Skills in credit assessment, financial analysis, and deal structuring.
- Experience with digital communications, web-based meetings, and mobile banking technology.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A university degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field.
- Ability to acquire new clients through lead generation and value-proposition pitching.
