About the role#
This is an 8-month internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 2027 through August 2027. You will work within the Group Risk Management team to build production-grade web applications and data solutions. This role is full-time and paid.
What you'll do#
- Design and build full-stack web applications using Dash and Python.
- Develop Python backend services using Pandas to manage data transformations and pipelines.
- Create responsive web interfaces for business stakeholders.
- Write clean, documented code while implementing version control and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate AI and ML models into production applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a third-year or higher Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program at a top-tier Canadian university.
- At least 8 months of prior co-op or internship experience in software development, web development, or data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python with experience building production applications.
- Advanced experience with Pandas for data manipulation.
- Understanding of web application architecture, design principles, SQL, and relational databases.
