About the role#
CNO Financial Group is hiring an Artificial Intelligence IT Intern to assist our AI team with daily operations. You will work alongside experienced associates to learn about professional AI initiatives and contribute to team projects. This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research AI capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Gather and document business needs, use cases, and requirements for AI projects.
- Attend meetings with business and technology teams to capture notes, requirements, and action items.
- Organize and validate business requirements with help from senior team members.
- Collect and summarize user feedback on AI tools to help with improvement efforts.
- Take part in knowledge-sharing sessions and training to build your technical and business skills.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a bachelor degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Status as a rising junior or rising senior.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer.
- Availability to work during Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote within the United States.
- Candidates must be able to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
- Occasional travel to corporate offices may be required.
- The internship program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 06, 2027.
