About the role#
This is a paid summer internship for the 2027 season. You will work with the 40|86 Advisors team at CNO Financial Group. This role focuses on commercial mortgage and real estate investments. You will assist the department with daily tasks and gain experience in the investment process.
What you'll do#
- Conduct fundamental corporate research across one or more industries to find investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
- Analyze existing and potential commercial real estate investments.
- Work with the investment team, including portfolio managers and traders, to support the decision-making process.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Standing as a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer.
- Ability to work on-site at the Carmel, Indiana corporate office.
- Current unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Carmel, Indiana.
- You must reside within a 60-mile radius of the Carmel office.
- The internship runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- This is a full-time, on-site role.
