About the role#
CNO Financial Group is hiring an Actuarial Intern to work with our experienced actuaries. You will assist with daily tasks across the Life, Health, and Annuity spaces. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. The program runs from May 17 through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Simplify and standardize valuation calculations.
- Use actuarial software packages.
- Document and communicate technical work clearly.
- Improve actuarial projections for pricing and valuation.
- Participate in networking, leader talks, career counseling, and development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or business administration.
- Status as a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- At least one passed actuarial exam toward an SOA designation.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-12 week duration of the internship.
- Ability to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Location & details#
This position is fully remote within the United States. Candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zones are preferred. You may be required to travel to a corporate office occasionally, and there will be one week of the program dedicated to an in-person event at a corporate office.
